Best Upcoming Games Yet To Be Released in 2019-2020 : Most waited titles for PC, PS4 Xbox One and Nintendo Switch

In the last quarter of 2019, there's still a host of exciting upcoming games on the way to feed your gaming fix. The titles yet to be released are Pokémon Sword And Shield  Cyberpunk 2077 to come - just to name a few. Here, we will be highlighting the most highly-anticipated releases along with some lesser-known titles that may not be on your radar. All the games across all the main consoles and PC, listed in release date order.


WWE 2K20

Seventh in the WWE 2K franchise, WWE 2K20 will revolve around the Four Horsewomen of WWE (Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch), with documentary-style vignettes and cutscenes to compliment the gameplay. For the first time in the franchise, the game will also offer a female story in the MyCareer mode, alongside the usual male story.

The Surge 2 is a third-person action RPG developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive. The sequel ditches the preset protagonist from the first game, allowing players to create a customizable character before being thrown into Jericho City, an urban wasteland brimming with dangerous mechanical foes.
The game carries over the challenging, Dark Souls-inspired combat of the original while introducing some new mechanics. Among these is a limb-targeting system which has been expanded, as well as new abilities, weapons, implants, and drones for players to take advantage of.


Call Of Duty Modern Warfare

Haven't we heard of this title before? Yes, is the answer. However, we're looking at essentially a soft reboot. This COD is a return to what the games do best, without all the weird future stuff and a grittier story than in previous games. Perhaps most excitingly, for the first time, this game will offer cross-platform on its multiplayer mode, with improved tactical gameplay.



Football Manager 2020

Live out your dreams of owning your favorite footie team with Football Manager 2020. This game will have more of a focus on making long-term planning pay off than in previous games. The all-new Development Centre will allow you to have more control over both your future pros and senior players, and receive advice from the backroom stuff - an element inspired by real-world experts. This is also one of the launch titles for the Google Stadia.


Narcos: Rise Of The Cartels

The Netflix hit about the Cartels (that isn't Breaking Bad) is getting its own game. Relieve the first season from two separate points of view, each offering a unique perspective. Whether you build up the drug empire as narco or aim to smash it down as the DEA, you're bound to have a whole heap of fun. You'll also be able to choose from a number of character classes, each with their own skillsets. 



Need For Speed: Heat

Need For Speed is one of those series that feels like it's been going on forever - 25 years in fact. Need For Speed: Heat is the game to celebrate this milestone. In terms of gameplay; during the day you can compete in sanctioned races to help perfect your techniques and rank on the leaderboard. However, of a night, you can take to the streets, weaving through traffic and trying to escape the cops on your tail.


Luigi’s Mansion 3

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will see Nintendo’s neurotic plumber setting off on a new spooky adventure, this time in a massive hotel whose ghostly guests have gone rogue. Equipped with the new and improved Poltergust G-00, Luigi will have to save his friends from King Boo’s grips while exploring the hotel’s multiple floors, each of which are centered around a unique theme.
The long-awaited sequel includes expanded multiplayer, now granting players the option to experience the story with a friend in local co-op. Additionally, Luigi’s Mansion 3 will introduce new ScareScraper and ScreamPark modes where up to 8-players can team up and compete locally and/or online to defeat ghosts and rack up coins. 

Pokémon Sword And Shield

We've all been waiting for the next generation of Pokémon to come to the Switch, and its finally happening. Pokémon Sword and Shield will take place in the Galar region, which this year has been modeled after the UK. The current starters confirmed are Scorbunny, Sobble, and Grookey (Fire, Water and Grass types respectively). This next generation will also introduce some new features for trainers to use in battle, including The Dynamax Phenomenon, which turns Pokémon gigantic.


Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a third-person action RPG set after the events of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith in the aftermath of Order 66, which practically wiped out the entire Jedi Order. You play as Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan tasked with uncovering the mysteries of an ancient civilization while always staying one step ahead of the Galactic Empire.
During your journey, you’ll learn to harness the power of the Force and hone your lightsaber skills as you try to survive and take down the Empire’s deadly Inquisitors. Fallen Order will feature lightsaber combat that relies heavily on gauging when to strike, block, and dodge enemy attacks.

Iron Man VR

We've all looked at Tony Stark and thought, 'Man, I wish I had one of those Iron Man suits for myself'. Well, now you can. Iron Man VR is coming to PS VR,  in which you play the billionaire superhero who is facing off against a ghost of his past. You'll be able to use the repulsor jets to shoot and control the flight movement for the suit, and as you progress through the game you'll be able to add on nifty upgrades to make your suit even more advanced. 

Doom Eternal

Final Fantasy VII Remake

This is a remake of the 1997 game Final Fantasy VII, which follows mercenary Cloud Strife as he, an eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE, battle against the Shinra megacorporation and former Shinra soldier, Sephiroth. But what's different from the original? Well, updated graphics obviously, along with remade character designs, additional quests, and a revised combat system. 

Marvel's Avengers

After Marvel's Spider-Man was a smash hit on the PS4, Marvel Games are taking things a step further. That's right - The Avengers are assembling on the big consoles. Experience all the different superpowers across some of the most iconic moments from the Marvel comics. Plus, we'll also be getting the addition of fan-favorite Kamala Khan, AKA Ms. Marvel. The developers have also promised that this game will be optimized for more content for the next few years, making this superhero title an investment for gamers all around.


Halo Infinite

It’s been years since we got a new Halo game, so it’s great to hear that the popular Xbox first-person shooter will be making a comeback. Halo: Infinite will utilize 343’s brand new Slipspace Engine, developed alongside the game, which should result in a major boost to the game’s graphics.
Infinite is also the only currently confirmed release for Project Scarlett, Microsoft’s next-gen console. Speculation suggests the game is set during the “Reclaimer Saga” of Halo and plans to tell a more serious story centered around Master Chief and Cortana’s relationship.
